By uploading claims data, documents, health records, or communications, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process and analyze your data to provide services, store and back up your information securely, and use aggregated, anonymized data for analytics, research, and platform improvement. This license does not permit us to share your identified DishCal PH health data with anyone, except as set out in the Privacy Policy.
6.3 Restricted Uses
You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute our content without permission, use our branding or trademarks without authorization, or create derivative works based on our platform.
7. Fees, Billing & Payment
7.1 MediPaid Subscription Tiers
MediPaid offers DWY and DFY subscription models with pricing based on managed receivables, transaction volume, or flat monthly retainers as outlined in your service agreement.
7.2 HFIC Membership
HFIC membership is currently FREE for founding members (subject to application and approval). Future membership tiers may be introduced with advance notice.
7.3 Payment Terms (MediPaid and HFIC)
Invoices are due within 30 days of issuance (or as specified in contract). Late payments incur 1% monthly interest. Payment method: bank transfer, credit card, or as agreed. All prices are in Philippine Pesos (PHP) unless otherwise stated.
7.4 Billing Disputes
Report billing discrepancies within 30 days to support@medipaid.tech. We will investigate and resolve disputes in good faith.
7.5 DishCal PH Consumer Subscriptions
The terms in §7.3 apply to organisational accounts. DishCal PH consumer subscriptions are governed by this section instead.
- Plans. ₱199 per month or ₱1,990 per year, in Philippine Pesos, inclusive of applicable taxes. There are no setup fees, no hidden charges, and no fees beyond the plan price displayed at checkout.
- Free plan. Every account includes a permanently free plan: sign-up, logging meals, your full history, your targets, and up to two medication reminders. No payment method is collected, nothing counts down, and nothing is charged. Paying adds AI meal analysis, the complete condition-specific recommendation list, and unlimited medications. The two-medication limit applies only to adding new ones — medications you have already saved are never hidden or disabled.
- Authorisation and renewal. Subscribing requires you to expressly authorise a recurring charge on a screen stating the amount, the frequency, and the first and next charge dates. Your plan renews automatically at that price until cancelled.
- Cancellation. You may cancel at any time from within the application. Cancellation stops all future charges, and you retain access until the end of the period already paid for. We retain no payment method afterwards. See the Refund Policy.
- Failed payments. If a renewal charge fails we will retry up to three (3) times. Access continues during the retries and is paused after the final failure. Your data is retained in accordance with Privacy Policy §11.
- Refunds. Governed by the Refund Policy.
- Price changes. We will give at least 30 days' notice before any price change takes effect, and you may cancel before it applies. A change never re-prices a period already paid for.
7.6 Payment Methods and Processing
Payments for DishCal PH consumer subscriptions are collected through Xendit, a payment service provider licensed and regulated by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP). At checkout you may pay using:
| Method | Type |
|---|---|
| GCash | E-wallet |
| ShopeePay | E-wallet |
| Credit and debit cards | Visa, Mastercard, and other supported card networks |
- All charges are made in Philippine Pesos (PHP) and the exact amount is displayed before you confirm.
- Card numbers, e-wallet credentials, and bank credentials are entered directly into Xendit's hosted checkout. They never pass through, and are never stored on, MediPaid systems — see Privacy Policy §8.
- A receipt confirming the amount, date, payment method, and plan is issued to your registered email address after each successful charge.
- You are charged only for the plan you selected. We do not add fees, surcharges, or third-party products to a transaction.
8. Service Level Agreement (SLA)
- MediPaid — Pilot Phase: Best-effort support; no guaranteed uptime.
- MediPaid — Active Contract: 99% uptime target; scheduled maintenance communicated in advance.

9. Limitation of Liability
9.1 Disclaimer
Services are provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that services will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that results will meet your expectations.
9.2 Liability Cap
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MEDIPAID'S AND HFIC'S LIABILITY FOR ANY DAMAGES, LOSSES, OR CLAIMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL FEES PAID BY YOU IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
9.3 Excluded Damages
IN NO EVENT SHALL MEDIPAID OR HFIC BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, EVEN IF ADVISED OF SUCH POSSIBILITY.
Nothing in this section limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited under Philippine law.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MediPaid and HFIC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these terms, your unauthorized use of the platform, your infringement of third-party rights, or your violation of applicable healthcare laws or regulations.
11. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information shared during the relationship. This excludes information required to be disclosed by law, information that was previously public or independently developed, and (HFIC only) aggregated, de-identified insights shared with the member community.
12. Term & Termination
12.1 MediPaid Pilot Programs
30-day pilots can be terminated by either party with written notice. After 30 days, continued use constitutes acceptance of our standard service agreement terms.

HFIC membership is continuous during the membership year. Either party may terminate with 30 days' written notice. Founding members retain lifetime recognition status.
12.3 Service Termination
We may suspend or terminate services if you violate these terms or applicable law, engage in illegal healthcare practices, default on payment for 60+ days, or breach security or data protection obligations.
12.4 Data Upon Termination

Governing Law. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict of law principles. Jurisdiction is in the Metropolitan Trial Court of Pasig City.
15. Modifications to Terms
We may update these terms periodically. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated terms. We will notify you of material changes via email or website notice.
16. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in effect, and the invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid.
17. Medical Disclaimer
Privacy Policy §18 (Medical Disclaimer) is incorporated into these Terms by reference and forms part of your agreement with us.
